I actually had this in mind before I did the character creation tutorial, it just took longer to get to XD. I hope that this guide offers some helpful suggestions and isn't too much like a list of things not to do! I've had some dreadful experiences roleplaying on DA so it might sound a little snarky in parts ^^'.

I really hate people who use chatspeak.

Excellent guide! As a now 3-year roleplayer I may not have experienced or encountered some of the things the act offers, but I have seen my share of knowledgeable and well-played characters and avatars and also a share of badly thought out characters and mary-sues. This is a fantastic guide and I hope many people read it, for my life would be much more enjoyable that way.

However I would like to suggest that, if for some reason you make another of these, that you include Game Mastering/Dungeon Mastering tips. I've been in roleplays that had great stories, players, and settings, but were exhausted and became borng quickly due to a lack of a good GM.

Back in my RPing days (I haven't in a year or so) I used to go into Neopets chatrooms and try and RP with people..those kids just don't know what they're doing anymore...o.O I wish this had been up then, lol..I would have sat them down and taught them a lesson or two XD <3
